Thidiazuron 98% is light yellow powder, slightly soluble in water and stable at PH5-9. Thidiazuron soluble in DMSO. Melting point is 213℃,  density is 1.3493 g/cm³

Function

Thidiazuron can be absorbed through the stems and leaves of the plant, and then transmitted between the petioles and stems.

Higher concentrations can stimulate ethylene production, thereby promoting the shedding of mature leaves;

At low concentrations, it has the function of cytokinin, which can induce the differentiation of some plant callus into buds.

Applications

• When 70% of cotton peaches crack, spraying thidiazuron (TDZ) on the leaves, cotton shedding leaves and bolls opening.
• When spray during the swelling stage of grape young fruits, it has strong cell division activity and can expand the fruit.
• If use on cucumber, spray the female flower receptacle with thidiazuron (TDZ) , can promote fruit setting and increasing single fruit weight.
• Spraying thidiazuron (TDZ) on celery leaves, can keep it green for a long time.

Note:

Cotton can be used at most once per season!

Thidiazuron (TDZ) is toxic to bees!
